Solar power is a 100% clean, renewable energy source
It allows your business to generate its own electricity, reduces your carbon footprint and on account of its environmental credentials, demonstrates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Infinite is an experienced developer of large-scale ground mounted and on-roof solar projects for both residential and commercial projects. Working with our partners, in Wales alone, Infinite has built over 50MW of ground mounted solar installations.
Recently, we have incorporated solar generation into our unique multi-technology Generation Storage Consumption Supply (GSCS) Energy Centre projects, representing a step-change in the de-centralised distribution of low carbon and renewable energy. The 1MWh rooftop solar system at GS Yuasa’s factory on the Rassau industrial Estate in Ebbw Vale is complete.
In due course, the scheme aims to share the benefits of multi technology generation within the immediate community, providing discounted renewable power and reducing CO2 emissions in the area.
We have also won the tender to supply power directly to the Royal Mint (TRM). This GSCS local Energy Centre will incorporate a 2MW Solar Farm on adjacent land and is forecast to provide 2.4GWh of annual generation directly to TRM.
Due to the removal of subsidy support for solar PV, most stand-alone solar PV schemes that export purely to grid, can struggle to be commercially viable. However, solar PV projects which are embedded into industrial sites and manufacturing plants, or integrated into a multi technology energy centre, can deliver financial returns whilst reducing the carbon footprint of communities and businesses.
Infinite takes a project from initial site review, through planning, to installation and long-term operation.
