Infinite is committed to accelerating the transition to low carbon energy systems

Our Story

Our work represents a step-change in the de-centralised distribution of low carbon and renewable energy. A flexible approach allows our customers to benefit from cost-effective, reliable green energy

A specialist renewable energy developer

Infinite was formed in 2010 as a specialist renewable energy developer to create merchant wind power schemes for commercial clients. Since then, we have delivered multiple commercial turbines and large-scale Solar PV schemes across the UK and are now pioneering multi-technology renewable and local energy centres to provide more secure, reliable and cost-effective sustainable energy directly to business communities.

We have formed several commercial partnerships to integrate renewable technologies into commercial and industrial settings.

Our high-profile wind schemes include the 850kW daffodil styled wind turbine which supplies up to 10% of the Royal Mint’s demand on its site in Llantrisant, South Wales. Eventually, this will form part of the Generation Storage Consumption Supply (GSCS) project.

As part of the same project, Infinite has installed a 1MWh rooftop solar system at GS Yuasa’s factory at the Rassau Industrial Estate in Ebbw Vale completing the first phase of its energy centre. We have been granted approval for the building of a wind turbine which will supply electricity directly to the industrial estate. There is also battery storage capability on site.

Capabilities

Infinite’s capabilities in understanding new renewable technology – wind, solar, battery storage and CHP applies across all sectors including manufacturing, food and beverage and leisure.

We know how to make renewable energy systems work, and we advise on the results that will be achieved.

Not only do we own and manage a portfolio of 12 wind turbines across the UK, but our local Energy Centre model also demonstrates our ability to create and innovate. The business case focuses on ‘anchor’ tenants within each industrial estate, who provide the base load for the business model.

Once we establish the base centre, the energy centre can expand throughout the estate, connecting tenants and helping them realise their net carbon zero goals.

Working in close collaboration with our partners, Infinite is rising to the challenge of renewable technology in the 21st century.

Infinite provides real solutions to help achieve your net zero goals

As we move towards a zero-carbon community in the UK, Infinite’s meticulous procedures will steer you towards the most achievable, reliable, and cost-effective renewable energy supply possibilities for your business or industrial site
