Royal Mint Charity Challenge

Royal Mint Charity Challenge

Jonathan Ree, Ryan Williams and Stuart Mitchell from the Royal Mint Purchasing Department recently successfully completed the National 3 Peaks challenge. Their fundraising goal was to raise £10,000 for Velindre Cancer Centre, which provides specialist cancer services to over 1.5 million people in South Wales and beyond.

The National 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the 3 highest mountains in the UK: Ben Nevis (1344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1085m)over a 24-hour time period.

In working with the Royal Mint on the construction and management of the new Daffodil turbine on their site, Infinite Renewables decided to sponsor the team for this very worthwhile cause and undeniably considerable challenge!
